In August 2018 my husband and I consulted with BC Home Builders Corp about renovating our upstairs and downstairs washrooms. We first met with Matt Doyle who presented as remarkably professional, courteous, invested, creative, and knowledgeable about his craft. He presented us with several options as to layout and design, and later offered us a comprehensive estimate that we felt very comfortable with. We knew of work he completed prior to ours and we incredibly impressed with the outcome, thus our confidence in his abilities to oversee and manage our project.
We later had the pleasure of meeting his partner Marek, and were impressed with how him and Matt worked together and were able to communicate various tasks and schedules they had for us to complete and follow. Every single question, inquiry, or request we had throughout the process was addressed and met to the best of their ability. It was evident they truly cared about us and comfort with the work they were doing. They both conversed with us at lengths if we had questions and would later follow up and to see if we had any further queries. The level of attention given to us was amazing.
The level of craftsmanship they completed far exceeded our expectations. They are true masters at creating and implementing design ideas, and have a flare for seeing beyond technical or aesthetic limitations. Matt in particular went out of his way to accommodate a design idea I wanted and found an alternative route that complemented our budget. He provided me with ample guidance and assisted me to stay on budget.
Both Marek and Matt were diligent regarding project management and had excellent rapport with trades people. Most trades were excellent and did quality work and I am sure it is a reflection of Marek an Matt’s reputation in the community. The trades they hired on our behalf were amiable, courteous, and professional as well.
The entire project was almost flawless right from the start, however, when a manufacturing defect occurred, both owners responded immediately and addressed the problem. It was incredibly important to them it was fixed and exuded real care and compassion. I was impressed with their sense of duty to us as well as their high level of ethics.
In summary, I would not hesitate to hire BC Home Builders Corp again for future projects.
